Alternative Wedding Bouquet Ideas

Alt Flowers

Hello!

I’m back with another alternative series and this time – it’s bouquets! One of the most traditional parts of a wedding, but in my opinion sometimes the most boring – and expensive!

Here I’ve found some of my favourite alternatives

Sea Shells

Lovely for a beach wedding, but also great for those who just love the sea! Add in a few little flowers to really make this bouquet special.

Pinwheels

Add these little paper creations to your wedding day for a real touch of fun. They can also be added to button holes and would look good mixed together with flowers too

A lovely and lasting alternative to the traditional wedding bouquet. Each one is handmade and made to order so they can be custom to your theme and are just gorgeous!

Brooch

Vintage brooches in your wedding’s colours can make a beautiful addition to your wedding. You can also pick it apart and give each brooch to one of your bridesmaids as a thank you

Butterflies

An ethereal addition to your wedding day that is so pretty. Imagine butterflies being placed down the isle instead of rose petals – so sweet!

Feathers

I love feathers. The look and feel is so luxurious. A great alternative bouquet, especially if you have feather like layers in your dress or your brides party has matching accessories (e.g. the mother of the bride has a feather fascinator in her hair.)

So there we have it – Some great alternatives to the traditional wedding bouquet. My favourites have to be the pinwheels and the gorgeous brooch bouquet.

I hope you love all of these ideas too and if you are planning on having an unusual bouquet at your wedding I’d love to know what it is!
